William A. Graber, MD, PC is thrilled to offer hockey fans something new to get excited about this season. The inaugural Galaxy Cup presented by Dr. William Graber Weight Loss Surgery has pitted the Utica Comets against the Syracuse Crunch throughout the 2013-2014 season, and soon the Comets will take home the prize.

The Galaxy Cup is a four-game series that is spread out over the entire season. The team that has accumulated the most points at the end of the series will be the winner. So far, the Comets and the Crunch have played three times. The Crunch opened the series with a 2-1 shootout win on October 21, but the Comets won the next two meetings, 3-1 on January 31 and 2-1 on February 21. The Comets currently hold a 5 points to 2 advantage, and with only one game remaining have clinched the series. The final game will be held on April 5 at Syracuse’s Oncenter War Memorial Arena.

The team at Dr. William Graber’s weight loss surgery practice is excited to support this fun competition between two towns and two hockey teams. Fans can get tickets to the final game where the trophy will be presented by contacting the Oncenter War Memorial Arena box office.
